Job Description:

Working closely with IT managers and professionals to provide quality support on upgrade/installation /maintenance/management of systems.
Creating and managing standardized desktop images, physical setting up of new systems, upgradation of systems for various applications and programs.
Willing to go on-site to test, deploy, upgrade computers and all related computer systems, networks and applications to ensure they are functioning properly.
Willing to co-ordinate with different IT vendors in fixing the computer peripherals and having the issue resolved in the timely manner.
Configuring and setting up of scanners and printers.
Should have good exposure towards charting the licensing requirements for software and performing audits.
Identifying and resolving problems affecting computer operations and systems and escalating to Systems Engineering, Network Engineering staff as required.
Work with network administrators/managers resolve networking issues, set-up portals, connect to switch or firewalls ensure effective networking operations, maintenance and support.
Proactive in identifying patches and upgrades of 3rd party and system softwares and applying the patches in a scheduled manner.
Maintaining the backup of office workstations and archiving them in a regular basis.
Maintaining and fine-tuning system performance and attending to the queries of user in a priority basis.
Regularly updating the system and application softwares running in employee workstations.
Taking care of tickets and emails relating to faults and replacement requirement of the IT equipments, hardware, software etc.
Ensuring incident ticket requests are closed on time and with high client satisfaction.
Being responsible in maintaining inventory system and maintaining its records consistently and systematically.
Willingness to be on-call on a scheduled basis; or as sometimes required work long hours to resolve the issues.
